81 Hours, 5 Minutes and 1 Second: The 2013 Hands On Boat-A-Thon Is Over

Tuscaloosa magician Curt Anderson and Boat-A-Thon veteran Mark Jewel were the last two contestants battling for the brand new Hide-A-Way Harbor pontoon boat.The contest lasted a total of 81 hours and of those, twenty were spent with these two facing off against only each other.

It's often been said nothing good happens at 3:00 am, or the 'witching hour', and this morning at least there was truth to the old wives tale.

As the warning horn signaled one minute remained for contestants to resume their places on the boat, Mark Jewel looked weary and struggled to get up. The camera began rolling and captured the moment Jewel will probably replay many times in his mind...the second the contest was over.
