The Tuscaloosa Police Department needs your help identifying a woman who they say left the scene after striking a 74-year-old woman with her car.

According to a Facebook post by TPD, The victim was hit while crossing the parking lot on the general merchandise side of Walmart at 4:45 p.m. on March 4. Witnesses said the driver of the car was traveling at a high rate of speed, and that a 1-3-year-old boy was standing up in the front passenger seat.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department said that after striking the woman with the car, knocking her to the pavement, the driver left toward Skyland Boulevard. The injured woman was treated by paramedics and transported to DCH by private vehicle.

The post featured a picture of what the TPD says is a black Pontiac G6 with an Alabama tag that starts with 44.
