Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports Commission's Gina Simpson said,

Lymanland is an amazing venue and continues to attract elite water skiing events. We are pleased to see the USA Water Ski Regionals return to our community for a second year. We thank Lyman Hardy for his partnership with TTSC and are excited to welcome everyone back. I urge the community to come out to enjoy this event.

During the five days, hundreds of top water skiers from around the U.S. as well as the world, will come to Lymanland near Tuscaloosa to compete in a series of events in hopes to move closer to nationals later on in the year. The tournament includes women, men and juniors competing slalom skiing, trick and jumps.

Lymanland, owned by Lyman Hardy, is a small, man-made lake solely crafted for water skiing located south of Tuscaloosa in Duncanville. Lymanland Lake is roughly half a mile long, 53 yards wide and eight feet deep, with islands at each end. Spectators are encouraged to come watch the skiers perform.
