The USA Water Ski returns to Lymanland to host its 2014 Southeastern Regional Championship. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

Here's a rundown of everything you'll need to know:

Who: The USA Water Ski organization, based in Polk City, Florida, is the national governing body of organized water skiing in the United States. The American Water Ski Association partners with USA Water Ski to host the 2014 Southern Regional Championships.

What:  The tournament will be a mix of youth, adults, professionals, and even international contestants. During the five days, hundreds of top water skiers from around the U.S. as well as the world, will come to Lymanland near Tuscaloosa to compete in a series of events in hopes to move closer to nationals later on in the year. The tournament includes women, men and juniors competing slalom skiing, trick and jumps.

When: The tournament runs from July 23rd through July 27th. Each day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 or 6:00 p.m depending on the weather.

Where: Lymanland, owned by Lyman Hardy, is a small, man-made lake solely crafted for water skiing located south of Tuscaloosa in Duncanville, AL. The skiing site is located at 15865 Waterski Lane in Duncanville, which is on the right side of the highway immediately after the 67th mile marker on US-82 East.
