Earlier in the week Alabama head coach Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19. The coach has been in quarantine at his home while handling preparations for the upcoming matchup with Georgia virtually. Saban has been receiving evaluation from team medical staff Dr. Jimmy Robinson and Jeff Allen. Allen provided an update on the coach's condition today.

Saban began his quarantine on Wednesday and was evaluated today by team physician Dr. Jimmy Robinson. The Alabama Athletic Department provided an update on the legendary coach.

Today the University of Alabama Athletics Department announced that head coach Nick Saban and athletic director Greg Byrne have both tested positive for COVID-19. Both men have been put into isolation for quarantine and observation, per health and safety protocols.

According to a statement from the University of Alabama Athletic Department both Nick Saban and Greg Byrne have tested positive for COVID-19. Both Saban and Byrne have entered isolation and are away from the facilities.

As a part of the "new normal" the University of Alabama is requiring everyone who is planning to go to games in Bryant-Denny Stadium this year to submit themselves to health screening prior to entering the stadium.

The SEC mixed up everyone's schedules this fall once the conference decided to opt for a conference only football schedule. Today the conference announced the new order and dates for the 2020 schedule.
