Revolutionary Tablecloth Lets You Hide Your Cellphone So You Can Actually Eat During Meals
It’s a question that plagues modern society: where do you put your cellphone while eating?
Well, one woman has come up with a solution to this puzzle.
A designer in Ireland named Paula O’Connor has created a tablecloth with pockets where you can rest the phone while chowing down and thinking about all the texts you’re missing.
Called the Zip It Tablecloth, it’s just a prototype for now. As O'Connor says, she hopes the Zip It reminds people how to dine with one another, noting, "Establishing the importance of eating with others is the core message of this project."
