Northport Woman Shot at Lake Lurleen State Park

A Northport woman was injured in a shooting at Lake Lurleen State Park Saturday (June 6) night.

WBRC Fox 6 News reports the suspect was 28-year-old Bailey Jones of Northport. The Violent Crimes Unit believes Jones was at the park with friends and family when Jones engaged in a fight with the victim at approximately 7 p.m. Jones shot the victim, who sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Jones was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charge of Second Degree Assault. Jones' bond was set at $7,500.
