Jeff Sessions Out as US Attorney General
Just a day after midterm elections, President Donald Trump has replaced Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.
The President tweeted the news on Wednesday afternoon.
Sessions took over as US Attorney General after Trump took office in early 2017. He previously served as a US State Senator from Alabama from 1997-2017.
"At your request I am submitting my resignation," Sessions wrote in a letter to White House chief of staff John Kelly.
Trump didn't elaborate anymore on the decision during his press conference today.
