Eli Gold Recovering from Shoulder Surgery

The voice of the Crimson Tide, Eli Gold, joined the 953 Bear Steve Shannon Morning Show.

Eli spent the offseason recovering from shoulder surgery. He managed to do some reading and shared that one of his favorite reads was The Elton John Story.

Eli has not been able to attend a Bama football practice because of Covid-19 precautions. He is more than ready to start the season September 26th.

Eli says broadcasting Bama games from a Bryant Denny stadium only filled to 20% capacity will be different as he often feeds off the crowd.

Eli confirmed that Coach Saban definitely has a good sense of humor. Even though we don’t always see it during the season.
