Hi, my name is Kim Rankin. I am from Birmingham, Ala., and graduated from The University of Alabama in May of 2020 with a degree in News Media and a sports concentration. Prior to starting at this station, I interned with the University of Alabama Club Hockey Team as a broadcast intern. I enjoy a variety of sports, and my favorite teams are the Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots. I started at Tide 100.9 in May of 2021 as an intern, covering high school football and multiple UA Athletics events. In March of 2022, I was brought on as a producer and content creator. I have enjoyed my time so far at Tide and I cannot wait to start this new chapter. Let's connect: Twitter- @kmrankin1 Instagram: kimrankin1
