Alabama baseball ended its 2014 season with a 4-2 loss to Kennesaw State in the Tallahassee Regional Final on Monday.

The game ended on a controversial third strike call on Kyle Overstreet. The second baseman came to the plate with two outs and runners on 1st and 2nd when this pitch ended Alabama's season.

The Crimson Tide fell two runs short of returning to a Super Regional, but the season would still be considered a success by most fans. At 37-24 overall, Alabama rose as high as #8 in the national rankings and sat alone atop the nation's best conference midway through the season.

The voice of Alabama baseball, Chris Stewart, recaps the 2014 season and looks ahead to next season, which should be another successful year for the program.
