Police are trying to determine exactly what happened during a shooting at a Tuscaloosa nightclub early Saturday morning.

Captain Gary Hood commander of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit said the Tuscaloosa police were called to investigate a shooting at the Playhouse Night Club around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

A 22 year old man who had been shot in his hand was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment. The man told the officers he didn’t know who shot him or why.

Three vehicles outside the club were struck by bullets. One occupied and two empty.  The details of the shooting are still unclear. Read more here.
