In the fourth inning, Alabama’s offense really exploded. Five singles, a double and a walk gave the Crimson Tide a six-run inning to secure its series win.
An eight-run fourth inning propelled the Alabama Crimson Tide softball team to a series sweep of the Texas A&M Aggies. The Crimson Tide went on to run-rule the Aggies by a score of 14-6 in six innings. Alabama improves its record to 29-4, 9-3 in SEC play and the loss drops the Aggies to 25-8, 4-5 in SEC play.
After getting out to a blazing 19-1 start before conference play officially began, Alabama softball has began to stumble a bit headed into the most important part of the season.
