All too often, we hear stories of pastors who live lives of luxury at the expense of their parishioners (never taking into account the number of books they may have written or investments they may have made that yielded a return), of magnificent church structures where "certain people" aren't welcome, and memberships being revoked for various reasons. Rarely do we hear stories like this

A stranger's random act of kindness made for one family’s memorable meal.

Almost one year ago we told you about the family of Aaron Collins, who were trying to respect his final wishes by giving a "$500 on a f------ pizza"-type of tip to a waiter or waitress. The Collins family did so, and that one tip has turned into so much more.

Here at TheFW, we’re big fans of paying it forward. Random acts of kindness can go a long way, especially in a society that’s riddled with hilarious fails and pranks. (Just kidding—that stuff is all in good fun.)

Sometimes a random act of kindness comes from a place you'd least expect. In Mariah Smith's case, help came from a random used car salesman.
