High school athletes, coaches and parents weren't sure if there would even be a season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the uncertainty that the pandemic presents, entering week 5 of the football season the AHSAA (Alabama High School Athletic Association) is off to a good start.

Weightlifting, conditioning and summer competitions are a staple across high school football across the country. Today the Alabama High School Athletic Association released a memo stating that summer competitions would be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
