The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the above-listed counties from Noon on Saturday, June 7, until 6:00 p.m. this evening.

 

What is the Risk

The National Weather Service says the biggest risk in these areas are the possibility of "a couple" tornadoes, scattered hail up to the size of a ping pong ball, and wind gusts up to 75 MPH

 

In the event of a tornado, ensure you have multiple ways of receiving alerts, including via the Tuscaloosa Thread and the Townsquare Media Weather Center.
