2 Shot During Large Gathering at West Tuscaloosa’s Hay Court Apartments Saturday
Two people are expected to survive after they were reportedly shot during a large gathering at West Tuscaloosa's Hay Court Apartments on Saturday.
Shortly after the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit was called to the scene of a household double shooting in the Vance area on the eastern side of the county, another incident took place at Hay Court.
Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the VCU, told the Thread that two people were injured by gunfire during a large outdoor gathering at the apartments.
He said their wounds are not life-threatening, and the case is under investigation.
Kennedy said the VCU is also expecting to release additional details about the Vance shooting later Sunday.
