20/59 SB UPDATE: The Latest On When It Will Be Clear

It's been a rough couple of days for commuters on 20/59 between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

However, that's not out of the ordinary for most that are familiar with that stretch of highway.

We've received multiple reports from motorists claiming that it is still a bit of a mess this afternoon.

A crash at 5:02 AM today was the cause of the most recent delays.

We spoke with ALEA Corporal Reginal King moments ago, and he confirmed that the area should be clear by 3:00 pm at the latest.

King said he is hopeful that things will return to normal well before that but wants to remain conservative in giving us a timetable.
