The block party will begin at 10a and end at 1p with The Big Dawg DreDay providing the music and a special guest performance by Drum Nation.

The Cameron Tyler Prince Legacy Foundation is dedicated to honoring the memory of Cameron Tyler Prince, a Hillcrest High School student who was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome. LQTS is a heart-signaling disorder that can cause fast, chaotic heartbeats (arrhythmias). Before being diagnosed, Cameron lived an everyday childhood life.

On November 21, 2021, Cameron transitioned due to surgical complications during an LQTS procedure. Cameron's life displayed resilience, strength, love, light, and legacy. Our values of love, light, and legacy represent three main components of who Cameron was to his family, friends, community, and the world.

"Since Cam’s passing, our family did not want him to be forgotten and thought of ways to keep his spirit alive. My husband, Cam’s brother, and I decided to create a foundation in Cam’s name to celebrate and continue his legacy, said Tammy Prince, Cameron's Mother.

"In January 2023, we launched the Cameron Tyler Prince Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to share heart and mental health awareness; provide educational needs; donate to charitable causes; and serve and support the community with acts of kindness."
