West Alabama Job Seekers Can Get Free Career Help

If you're a resident in West Alabama who are in search of a job, a free weekly class is coming up to help prepare you for employment.

A Lunch and Learn job readiness class by Tuscaloosa's One Place will begin on January 8th at 11a. The 4-week weekly program is designed to help people gain skills needed to be hired.

Resume building, creating cover letters, mock interviews, one-on-one job coaching and support are all part of the program. Free lunch will be provided for each session and SNAP recipients can participate in the class for free.

Tuscaloosa residents are encouraged to apply for the class that will be held weekly for 4 weeks starting January 8th. To register you can call 205-462 -1000.
