We are closely monitoring weather conditions that could bring our coverage area an active weather day on Thursday, February 16.

Now is a great time to review your severe weather plan for your locations and home and at work. Also, know exactly where you would shelter inside your location and your nearest public shelter. It’s always best to be prepared ahead of the storm when you don’t have to rush to find information. Be sure you have multiple ways to receive reliable weather information.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham said that “a strong storm system is poised to move into the Southeast beginning as early as tonight and lasting through the day on Thursday.
