Timing

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that today the “sun will be out at times, highs will be in the 80s, and showers and storms will form during the afternoon and evening hours.”

Threats

These storms could have the potential to bring strong and gusty winds plus the possibility of hail. Spann said that “they will also be efficient rain producers with some flooding possible in spots. The chance of any one spot across Alabama seeing rain today and tomorrow is 55-65 percent.”
