American Cancer Society 2023 Relay For Life of Tuscaloosa County

You can join the movement for a world without cancer with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Tuscaloosa County this Friday, April 28. Their mission is to “Save Lives, Celebrate Lives, and Lead the Fight” said the press release. The event takes place at Central High School located at 905 15th St, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, and kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

This event is designed to “honor and remember loved ones and fight back for lifesaving change.” The Relay For Life is truly a “community of survivors, caregivers, local citizens, volunteers and participants who believe that the future can be free from cancer and own the power to make that change.”

Plus, Relay For Life is fun and there are many ways to get involved.

According to the press release, they encourage all survivors to register online at www.relayforlife.org/tuscloosaal so you don’t miss out on the event festivities.

“It’s never been easier to raise money for Relay For Life and help fund the future. Every dollar raised fuels the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission. The fight against cancer needs you now more than ever,” said Stephen Baldo-Downs local event lead.

What you can expect at Relay For Life is lots of activities that also include a Survivor Dinner at 5:00 p.m. and a luminary service along with awards that take place from 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.
