It’s time to get ready for this weekend's big event at Government Plaza in Downtown Tuscaloosa.

Visit Tuscaloosa, UA Online, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa are teaming up to bring you a free and fun experience this weekend.

The return of Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest is Saturday, September 20, and it all kicks off at 10 AM.

One of the most important things to know is that the event is free to attend. Now, of course, if you plan on consuming alcoholic beverages, you will need to buy a $10 stein, and then you have the cost of the beverage.

In addition, lots of folks are talking about the VIP experience, which can be had for a ticket price of $75.

The VIP tickets are available (only 100 remain) and that will entitle you to a cool VIP tent, exclusive food, drink options, a VIP bar and games, plus air-conditioned bathrooms!

It’s essential to note that the VIP experience includes air-conditioned bathrooms and an AC-cooled VIP tent for this Saturday.

You can get your VIP tickets by clicking HERE

It’s all about German culture and festivity with an authentic festival for everyone in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa.

We invite you all to enjoy a day of family, friendly fun, featuring live music from Oompah-Calypse and the Jason Jones Band, activities, contests, great food, and, of course, cold beer.

Chelsea and Josh, from Visit Tuscaloosa, joined Steve & DC on 95.3 The Bear this morning to discuss what we can expect this weekend at Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest.
