Turning Point Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services is gearing up for its Summer Soiree, a lively fundraising event set for May 16, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market. Proceeds will support vital services for survivors and children across West Alabama.

This 21+ summer kickoff celebration will feature live music from AJ and the Midnight Soulz, catering by Archibald’s BBQ, a cash bar, games like cornhole, a photo booth, and a silent auction. Guests are encouraged to come in "dressy aloha or beach wear."

Turning Point has served Tuscaloosa and the surrounding region for over four decades, now covering nine counties. The nonprofit offers life-saving services such as 24-hour emergency shelter, crisis hotlines, counseling, advocacy, and community outreach—all free of charge.

Tickets are available at www.turningpointservices.org or on the organization’s Facebook Event page. Prices are $40 for individuals and $75 for couples.
