Herndon is once again leading the drive to collect supplies for victims of a weather emergency.

Hurricane Helene left many folks in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina with heavily damaged homes or without homes.

Please donate items to be delivered by Herndon between 5am to 5pm until Wednesday 10/2/24. The drop-off location is
2728 Lurleen Wallace Blvd. in Northport.

Trailer 1 will leave Northport bound for Madison County, Florida which is east of Tallahassee. Supplies will be distributed to a 4 county area where Helene made landfall.

Financial contributions can be addressed to Benevolent Way.

Specific needs include:
Kid’s snacks
Water
Nails
Hammers
Tide Pods
Sports drinks
Tarps
Non-perishable food products
Personal hygiene products

Folks are hurting. Please help however you can.
