DCH Announces New Administrator for Fayette Medical Center
The DCH Health System has appointed a new administrator for Fayette Medical Center, which has been serving the residents of Fayette County since 1958.
Rodney Clark is set to join the DCH Health System as the new administrator. In this role, Clark will oversee the hospital's operations, ensuring they run efficiently while aligning with the healthcare needs of Fayette and its surrounding communities.
He joins the DCH Health System from North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, Mississippi, where he served as Chief Operations Officer. During his tenure, the Mississippi Nurses’ Association and the Mississippi Nurses Foundation recognized the hospital as the Hospital of the Year in 2017.
“One of the reasons for hiring Clark was his experience in rural healthcare,” said Katrina Keefer, CEO of DCH Health System.
Clark is slated to assume his new role on August 19.
Keefer said that Clark has a “track record of building long-term community relationships. He understands the unique needs of rural healthcare and how the hospital can best serve the residents who call Fayette and the surrounding communities home.”
According to the press release, “The Fayette Medical Center provides emergency services, primary care, surgeries, radiology services, diagnostic imaging, and a CAP-certified medical lab. The Emergency Department is staffed full-time by physicians.”
