Alabama Makes 61st “Gameday” Appearance And Other Nuggets
I'm not sure about you, but I was a bit nervous on Saturday afternoon.

I was thinking, "We can not lose AGAIN to Vanderbilt in back-to-back years".
I don't know if I could have lived with a loss to Vandy and Diego Pavia in Tuscaloosa of all places.
Yet, after a shaky start, we found our mojo on offense and defense.
Game balls have to be awarded to a couple of players.
First up, Justin Jefferson.
I'm sure Vanderbilt wondered if we had three guys named Justin Jefferson on the field.
14 tackles and a sack with a forced fumble.
He was on fire.
Another game ball has to go to Jam Miller with 136 yards on 22 carries plus a TD.
So good to have Jam back on the field and healthy.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Alabama Crimson Tide has hosted ESPN's "College Gameday" in Tuscaloosa 61 times.
That's a lot of times, but it is not the most in college football.
That honor goes to Ohio State, which has been on the program a record 67 times.
The next closest after Alabama and Ohio State?
Florida, and it's not very close. Florida has been on the pre-game show 43 times.
Another interesting stat:
Which college football team in the FBS boasts the best home-field winning percentage?
If you guessed the Alabama Crimson Tide, you are absolutely right.
The Tide has a winning percentage of just over 84% at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The next best winning percentage goes to the team from Iowa, Boise State, followed by Oklahoma in third place.
