The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Flood Advisory. This advisory is in effect until 8:15 p.m.

Urban and small stream flooding is expected in these areas due to excessive rainfall from thunderstorms. 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have already fallen, with an expected additional inch of rain.
The impacts could include minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
