It's officially the holiday season and induced birth rates tend to increase around this time. Those days leading up to holidays and days after are packed with induced births.

To help residents during that time, a local organization is hosting a free class on preparing for labor induction during the holidays.

Diamonds for Doulas is a non-profit dedicated to reducing health disparities through education and doula support during and after childbirth. The organization hosts free support groups and classes in Tuscaloosa to help local moms with breastfeeding and more.
