I ordered the ‘Smasher’ combo, which, of course, came with tots. Everything was hot and fresh. The ‘Smasher’ was wrapped up nicely, and the tots were crispy.

Taste:

The ‘Smasher’ was great for a fast-food burger because every bite was a burst of juicy goodness. Sonic said to expect "seasoned patties smashed and seared, crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle.”

Be sure to get extra ‘Smasher’ sauce because I wish I did. It was delicious.

Texture:

All the flavors worked well together. The ‘Smasher’ sauce paired well with the burger, pickles, and onions. My only tiny issue is that the top bun was soft, but the bottom bun had a small tougher part, but it didn’t take away from the burger.

Value:

My meal, which included the ‘Smasher’ burger, tots, and a drink, was just over $11. Compared to other fast-food restaurants, I felt it was within reason.

Overall:

With a texture that balances a crispy edge and tender interior, the Sonic Smasher burger left a lasting impression and proved to be a must-try for enthusiasts.
