What to Expect from Alabama’s July 2025 Weather
The year seems to be racing by, and we have made it to July. As we step into the heart of the summer, it’s time to take a closer look at what Alabamians can expect when it comes to this month’s weather patterns.

'Tis the season for typical southern summer weather: pop-up showers and thunderstorms and hot conditions.
Here Is a Detailed Breakdown of What You Can Expect for July 2025
Precipitation Outlook
Across Alabama, The Weather Channel has allocated an “above-average” outlook for the chance of rain. This also includes our neighboring states of Georgia, a small portion of Kentucky, a good portion of Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Temperature Outlook
Summers in the south usually mean hot and muggy days. This July, The Weather Channel is forecasting some relief for residents in the southeast region.
Don't get too excited, there's more.
“The Southeast is going to be relatively cool this summer, meaning temperatures are going to lean cooler-than-average,” said The Weather Channel.” “But seeing as this is a region with highs that average in the 90s for July, cooler than average is still considered hot, and you can bet it will be plenty humid.”
As July unfolds, whatever weather comes your way, the Townsquare Media Weather Center will keep you informed to help you make the best out of our southern summer.
