Alabama iPhone Users: Urgent FBI Warning
The FBI has issued a text scam warning for iPhone users.
The DMV text scam is happening in Alabama and across the nation.
The DMV text scam says you owe money for unpaid tolls and traffic offenses.
The FBI has recently warned approximately 150 million iPhone users in the United States to delete this menacing text scam as soon as they receive it.
Additionally, a new link “worms its way into your phone” and captures your most personal data, according to the FBI consumer warning.
Interestingly this month, the month of June, consumers receive ten times more scams by phone than any time the rest of the year, per the FBI warning. The FBI offers no explanation for the huge increase in June phone scams.
So, iPhone users proceed with caution.
