A flash flood watch has been issued for Tuscaloosa, Pickens, Bibb, Jefferson, Hale, Greene, and Walker counties from Friday (1-9-26) at 6 am through 12 noon on Saturday.

Excessive runoff may cause flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying, flood-prone areas.

Two to four inches of rainfall is forecast for Friday morning, continuing through Saturday morning across much of the watch area listed above.

Some areas could see five inches or more of rainfall over the next two days.
