
Top Alabama Receiver Target Re-Classifies to 2026
The top wide receiver target for the Crimson Tide in 2027 will now enter college a year earlier than expected, with Ethan "Boobie" Feaster reclassifying from the 2027 recruiting class to the 2026 recruiting class.

Feaster, a 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver according to 247 Sports, currently has 12 schools that he is focusing on for his commitment as a new 2026 wide receiver. He was previously ranked as a top-five prospect according to composite, as the No. 1 player in Texas and the No. 1 wide receiver.
The DeSoto High School prospect from DeSoto Texas includes six SEC teams in his top 12. Schools are listed alphabetically.

Alabama offered Feaster in January 2025. During his sophomore season, he was named a MaxPreps All-American, catching 57 passes for 824 yards (14.5 yards per catch) and 13 touchdowns. Feaster helped DeSoto reach the quarterfinals of the Texas 6A D-II State Playoffs.
During his freshman year in 2023, Feaster caught 32 passes for 634 yards and nine touchdowns as DeSoto had an undefeated 6A D-II state championship team.
No date has yet been set for Feaster's commitment. In an interview with Inside Texas (On3's coverage of the Texas Longhorns), Feaster mentioned Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State, and Alabama as schools he is focusing on.
He also mentioned Alabama's Ryan Williams as an inspiration for the reclassification decision, "I saw Ryan Williams do it," Feaster told Steve Wiltfong of On3 Sports. "That was the biggest thing. I felt like I can do it. I felt like I was ready for college."
