The Alabama Crimson Tide already knew they would have at least one night game during the 2024-2025 football season, with the Tide's matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, September 28.

Crimson Tide fans were unhappy with the announced time for Alabama and Wisconsin, with that game set to kick off at 11:00 a.m. CT.

Tide fans will get at least one more night game on the schedule, with the announcement coming on Tuesday that Alabama's season opener against Western Kentucky will kick off at 6:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The first game of the Kalen DeBoer era will take place under the lights in Bryant-Denny Stadium. It's the ideal time for fans, and potentially the players as well, as September in central Alabama tends to be pretty hot and humid. Things will cool off at night, which makes for a more enjoyable experience for Crimson Tide fans.
