Robbie Ouzts is a Seahawk
The big, shifty, blocking tight end Robbie Ouzts was selected as the No. 175 overall pick in the fifth round by the Seattle Seahawks. He will join his former quarterback Jalen Milroe, who was drafted by the Seahawks as the No. 92 overall pick in the third round. The two are the only pair from Alabama that will remain teammates on a professional level.

Ouzts' final season with the Crimson Tide was his best and replicated the kind of tight end he is and the kind of damage he can do when put in the right scheme. He finished the 2024-25 season as a pass cacher with eight receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns. His stats may not be as high as other tight ends in the 2025 NFL draft class, but Ouzts can block, get open to gain more yards, and keep his head down to fight through a defense, making it difficult for defenders to bring him down. Additionally, he has an impressive vertical, as demonstrated at the NFL Combine, where he had the highest vertical jump ( 34'') by a tight end weighing 270+ pounds since 2003.
"Ouzts is built like an ironworker who has a squat rack in the garage. He's compact and muscular but surprisingly athletic in routes and on move blocks. He can align as a wing and fits up blocks with good technique and balance, but he gets discarded by longer opponents. As a lead blocker he sees the run lane like a running back and adjusts well to strike moving targets. He can run routes if needed and should play on kick return, punt cover and field goal teams. A move to fullback will give him a chance to compete for a roster spot," said NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein.
With the familiar connection between Milroe and Ouzts, along with their combined skill sets at the NFL level, the future is bright for the Seahawks.
