No.21 Kentucky Claims Game One Over Alabama 7-4 in SEC Series Opener
LEXINGTON, KY – Alabama dropped game one of its SEC season opener against Kentucky on Friday, as three different Wildcats hitters each homered.

The Crimson Tide struck first with a solo home run from shortstop Justin Lebron, giving Alabama a 1-0 lead going into the bottom half of the inning. It was Lebron’s ninth home run of the season.
Kentucky responded in the bottom half of the first when second baseman Ethan Hindle hit a two-run home run, his sixth of the season, giving Kentucky a 2-1 lead heading into the second inning.
The Wildcats extended their lead in the second inning when right fielder Ryan Schwart hit a two-run shot over left field for his second home run of the season, making it a three-run lead going into the third.
