Kalen DeBoer, Kane Wommack, and Nick Sheridan spoke with the media on Monday ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Wisconsin Badgers. He talked about the injuries to players over the weekend.

On Cole Adams:

"Cole Adams has an upper-extremity injury," DeBoer said, and “We’ll see how he goes through the week here,” DeBoer added. “Won’t rule him out but will probably be very limited early.”

Adams left the field on Saturday night in the second half against South Florida. When he left the field, his arm was being catered to.

On Kadyn Proctor

As for left tackle Kadyn Proctor, DeBoer said he will continue to work through his functional movement with his shoulder early in the week. “Keep progression in a way I feel we’re going to be pretty dang close by the weekend to get him on the football field,” DeBoer said. “He’s coming along real well, especially at the end of last week. Working extremely hard to get back out there.”

Kadyn Proctor has not played yet this season. He suffered a shoulder injury during pregame warmups ahead of Alabama's 63-0 win over Western Kentucky. Elijah Pritchett started in his place against Western Kentucky, and Tyler Booker moved to left tackle from left guard for Alabama's 42-16 win over South Florida.

Proctor warmed up with the team in full pads for the game against South Florida but was in street clothes when the Tide took the field for the game.

On Elijah Pritchett

Kalen DeBoer did not provide a major update on Elijah Pritchett. However, he did say this, "Got through the game healthy, that was good."

On Saturday following the win over South Florida, DeBoer said,

"He got, last game, a minor ding,” DeBoer said. “We were trying to get through. He didn’t practice much early in the week. Practiced Wednesday and Thursday. So, was ready to go. Probably worked a little bit more on the left side. We felt good after we had gone through the week that we were just going to role with what we had with (Tyler Booker) and Geno (VanDeMark), but he was ready to go. He could have started the game. We were just trying to hold on as long as possible. Try to keep him 100% healthy. Got through just fine tonight. I think we’re going to be in better shape offensive line wise going into next week. Was a little touch and go there at some points during the week with a few different guys.”

Alabama will take on the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 a.m. CT. You can listen to the game on the free Tide 100.9 app and 95.3 The Bear.
