Jalen Milroe Signs High-Energy NIL Deal

Jalen Milroe is a high-profile athlete in college football, and rightfully so. He's one of the top returning quarterbacks in college football and is the starting quarterback of the most successful program in college football history.

With the high-profile caliber of Milroe, combined with the performances on the field last season, Milroe has certainly earned some massive NIL deals.

According to On3 Sports, Milroe has plenty of NIL deals, including Beats by Dre, which Milroe gifted to his team following the conclusion of Fall Camp.

Milroe also has NIL deals with Rhoback, HeyDude shoes, Yea Alabama, EA Sports, and Six Star Pro Nutrition.

Milroe squeezed in one more NIL deal before the season begins, and it will provide the energy he needs for a long college football season that could see Alabama play as many as 17 games.

According to Nicole Auerbach of NBC Sports, Jalen Milroe has announced an NIL deal with Celsius.

Celsius is an energy drink brand currently popular with college students.

The NCAA has skirted the line with energy drinks before, with conflicting reports saying that energy drinks, specifically Celsius, have a banned substance in the drink.

According to the Celsius website, however, caffeine is listed as a banned substance by the NCAA, but players will not be suspended for testing positive for caffeine, as long as it is ingested responsibly.

According to the Celsius website, each can holds 200 mg of caffeine, and users are not recommended to drink more than two cans per day. An NCAA athlete weighing 110 pounds would have to drink over 500 mg of caffeine just hours before competition to test positive - with heavier athletes needing to drink more than 500 mg.
