Gunner Stockton Talks Difficult Start to SEC Play for Bulldogs
The SEC schedule for the Georgia Bulldogs comes out of the gate swinging at the reigning SEC champions. The Dawgs start SEC play in week three on the road against the Tennessee Volunteers, a rivalry game that, despite Georgia dominating the final box score last year, Tennessee had them on the ropes. Georgia gets a bye week immediately after, only to welcome the Alabama Crimson Tide the next week. Arguably, Georgia's two toughest games of the season will be played by week six.

We'll know who Georgia is as a program early this season. Despite the challenging introduction to SEC play for 2025, Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton isn't shying away from the pressure.
"I think anywhere in the SEC is tough," Stockton said. "That's the beauty of the SEC, and that's where everybody wants to play. Playing at Georgia is a privilege, and that's the best part about it."
Stockton is no stranger to tough games. His introduction to the starting lineup came in the second half of the SEC championship last season, which he didn't finish due to getting laid out by a Texas defender. His first career start came in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoffs against Notre Dame, which Georgia lost 23-10.
