Morgan, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver from Alexander City, Alabama, committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide on July 2, 2025. At the time, he was rated as a five-star prospect and a top-two player in the state of Alabama. His rankings have dipped a bit, with him now being ranked as the No. 40 overall player in the class, the No. 5 wide receiver, and the No. 3 player in Alabama.

Even still, Morgan has put up impressive numbers with Benjamin Russell, finishing his junior campaign in 2024 with 70 receptions for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns. As a senior in 2025, he finished with 82 receptions for 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Morgan shut down his recruitment on October 5, and all that was left was to put pen to paper on Wednesday during Early National Signing Day.

247 Sports Scouting Analyst Gabe Brooks compared Morgan to a recent NFL draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in Savion Williams.

"- Big, smooth, powerful pass-catching weapon who plays with obvious horsepower.
- Senior season showed encouraging physical refinement and nuance in regards to fluidity and locomotion, particularly in run-after-catch situations.
- Acceleration and long speed are impressive relative to size.
- Dangerous shot-play target and drag option because of explosive ability in the air and when loose in open ground.
Excellent multi-sport profile that includes averaging a double-double in hoops, an Alabama 6A high jump silver medal (6-8), and a 21.74 200-meter rep.
- Still gaining full route tree experience/comfort, as well as creating late separation.
- Knows how to overwhelm defenders in contested situations, but can show more consistent urgency off the line.
- Will the explosion numbers show more consistently in pads against bigger/stronger/faster opponents?
- Uniquely gifted high-major pass catcher who should be viewed more as an explosive matchup weapon than a 'tweener.
- Size/athleticism combo fosters creativity a la Savion Williams, while overwhelming physical tools and aerial ability mirror a Courtland Sutton-like option. Either way, could become a desired NFL Draft candidate after an impactful college career."

Morgan has taken 12 visits to Tuscaloosa during his high school career, with the most recent coming on November 15, when Alabama hosted Oklahoma.
