The legal tampering period has begun in the NFL, and with it, former Alabama players are changing homes in the NFL. Former Tide stars are on the move all across the NFL, but who is on the move and where are they heading?

Bradley Bozeman re-signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on a multi-year extension. Bozeman has appeared in 118 career games with 98 starts, including all 18 for the Chargers in 2024. Contract details have not yet been released on Bozeman's multi-year extension.

In addition to Bozeman, the Chargers re-signed former Alabama punter JK Scott. Scott punted in all 17 regular season games for the Chargers in 2024, averaging 46.7 yards per punt with a long of 67 yards. Scott downed opposing teams inside their 20-yard line 28 times in 2024. Contract details have yet to be released on Scott's extension, but it is a multi-year deal.

The Washington Commanders released former Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen earlier last week, allowing Allen to visit and sign with a team before the legal tampering period began. Despite the head start, Allen still waited until Tuesday morning to sign. He visited the Minnesota Vikings and inked a new contract before leaving the building. Allen signed a three-year, $60 million deal with the Vikings to join former Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner on the defensive side of the ball in Minnesota.

The Vikings are not done adding former Crimson Tide stars. Minnesota also signed former Alabama and Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly to a two-year, $18 million contract on Monday evening. Kelly has started 121 career games with the Colts over the last nine seasons, and was named to four Pro Bowls during his time with the Colts.

Najee Harris chose Alabama and Nick Saban over Michigan and Jim Harbaugh during his recruitment in high school. Now, Harris will play for Harbaugh, signing a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers worth $9.25 million.

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Harris in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. He has played in every game possible during his time as a Steeler, rushing for 1,000 yards in every season.

Mac Jones, the former first-round pick and Heisman Finalist from Alabama, has signed a two-year deal worth a maximum of $11.5 million with the San Francisco 49ers. Jones served as the backup quarterback for Trevor Lawrence in 2024, playing in 10 games. He passed for 1,672 yards and eight touchdowns in place of Lawrence on the Jaguars.
