Yahoo News reports that 750 doctors in 25 countries are planning to hold a "vasectomy-athon," with many operations being provided for free or at discounted rates. Organizers of the event hope to encourage men to take a bigger role in family planning and combat resistance to the procedure, as around 40% of pregnancies worldwide are unplanned and often result in the women dealing with the consequences.
