Griffith's kick capped a 54-yard drive in 10 plays that was highlighted by a 33-yard pass from quarterback David Cornwell to wide receiver Calvin Ridley. That play, on a third down needing eight yards for a first down, reached the White team's 7-yard line.

A few minutes later, the White team moved 52 yards in three plays to the winning touchdown.
