How far is too far when dressing up as a person of another race for Halloween costume? That's a question being asked after an elementary school teacher dressed up in blackface..... Yes, again!

Usually, a person in blackface is automatically seen as offensive. However, in previous instances, the person is in costume as a "character." This time, according to AL.com, Chestnut Grove Elementary School 5th grade teacher Heath Morrow is making headlines after a picture of him in blackface as part of a Kanye West Halloween costume surfaced online.

Should "passes" be given when attempting to conform one's self into an actual person? A few years ago, a second grader was suspended for showing up in blackface for a presentation on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

When mimicking a real life person or historical figure, is this appropriate?  What do you think?
