Thinking that we are intelligent enough to move through life on our own is contrary to the warning of Biblical scripture. Scripture plainly tells us that "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (Prov. 16:25). When we find ourselves at the crossroads of life, we need to stop and consult the ways of Almighty God.

Life is somewhat of a directional venture. It's vitally important to know how to successfully channel our lives toward blessed and peaceful relationships, meaningful acts of love and service, an enriching experience with God, and a lot of other important destinations.

Asking God for guidance is not just a good idea, it is a great idea. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart . . . and He shall direct your paths (Prov. 3:5-6).
