WASHINGTON – Many watched the live stream video of it as it happened. Others went back and caught the uploaded video after the fact.

But most didn’t see what it looked like from the prospective of one inside the White House on Wednesday.

Tide 99.1 was present inside the White House’s East Room for the ceremony, where we were able to capture a firsthand view of President Barack Obama as he honored the Alabama football team for its latest national championship.

In the videos below, watch as the team both enters and exits the famed room and even presents Obama with a team football, helmet and personalized jersey at the end of the president's nine-minute speech. Additionally, Saban and 2016 team captains Derrick Henry, Jake Coker, Reggie Ragland and Ryan Kelly met with reporters in a short media session outside the Briefing Room after the ceremony’s conclusion.
