Alabama head coach Nick Saban returned to the podium along with his Coke bottle for the first press conference of fall camp and there were plenty of topics to discuss.

Thursday marked the first official practice for the football team since April and a lot has happened since that time. The team has gone through the offseason workout program, the entire freshmen class has reported, and then there was the recent DUI arrest for Da'Shawn Hand.

Saban spent a little over 10 minutes updating his team's progress and the goals for August. He also went into the Hand situation and explained that the senior wouldn't be suspended if he did everything he was asked. The other topics included the improvements of Jalen Hurts, what he's looking for from his defensive backs, and the different in criticism and teaching on the field.

You can see his full press conference in the video above. His next appearance is scheduled for Saturday morning before Alabama's Fan Day.
