Alabama head coach Nick Saban kept his final media appearance of the week very brief as the team wraps up preparations for USC.

The Crimson Tide completed its second-to-last practice before it leaves for Texas, and Saban said the team is ready to get off the practice field and start competing.

"I think everybody is really looking forward to the challenge of playing a very good USC team," Saban said. "I'm sure the guys have had their fill of practice and practicing against each other."

Alabama will practice one final time on Thursday before using Friday as a travel day. It will be the first time on the road for the 2016 team, which comes with plenty of distractions. Especially when you're the No. 1 team in the country.

"The most important thing right now is for the players to be able to stay focused on what they need to do to execute and play well. You know, mental clutter, outside expectations, outside whatever. Keep the main thing the main thing."

The Crimson Tide remains a double-digit favorite over the Trojans on Saturday night. That game will kickoff at 7PM.
